INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our internship program exists to prepare students and young professionals with a gospel-centered, kingdom-focused perspective on the issues related to human sexuality. Interns come alongside the A.B.S. staff to equip the church and Christ-centered organizations to address complex sexual issues in both biblically and redemptively.

NetworkingThe Networking Intern will work closely with the Network Director to advance the growth of the Biblical Sexuality Network. Applicants interested in the networking internship should be a socializer, extrovert, who loves to initiate conversations, connect with people, and present on behalf of the association via different platforms. Preferred Hours: 10 hours / week / flexible Compensation: Unpaid Learning Opportunities: Reach out and connect with ministries worldwide who work in the field of biblical sexuality. Study and compile a global list of programs and resources available to those seeking help with sexual struggles. Learn how to contextualize different resources into different cultures. Become fluent in presenting the mission and vision of the A.B.S. to incoming inquiries. Attend, monitor, and represent the A.B.S. stand / table during conferences and events. Qualifications: Have a personal relationship with Jesus. Are eager to learn how to share the Gospel to those seeking sexual wholeness, and equipping the Church and organizations to do the same. Seeking to be a part of a team who is fighting to help the Church reclaim its territory of God's design for sexuality back into its walls and in our culture. Agree in entirety with the Association of Biblical Sexuality's mission and statement of faith.

Social Media/MarketingThe Social Media/Marketing Intern will work closely with the Director of Communications to advance the association's strategic marketing efforts through email, social media, and web marketing. Tasks may include writing copy for emails and social media posts, creating SEO-focused content for the association's website, and other digital marketing projects. Applicants interested in a marketing internship should possess creativity, strong writing and editing skills, and have an active interest in marketing and communications. Preferred Hours: 10 hours. Flexible during the week. Compensation: Unpaid Learning Opportunities: Target Audience: Churches, Christ-centered organizations, multiethnic, socioeconomically diverse, all ages. Looking to reach and engage the Church and Christ-centered organizations. Work with all ministries in the A.B.S. to celebrate & announce what they’re doing. Social media strategy and management (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube). Social media content creation. Social media trends & evergreen content. Planning IG Reels & YT Shorts. Graphic design (Canva). Event planning and promotion. Marketing research and strategy. Qualifications: Have a personal relationship with Jesus. EditorialThe Editorial Intern will work closely with the Content Editor in oversight of the A.B.S. online content. This may include a number of tasks in the writing process including soliciting and overseeing the production of relevant and timely pieces of content, the production of self-authored articles, and the editing of submitted content. Additionally, the intern will have tasks related to oversight of the website. All of this will be conducted with the cooperation of the Marketing Director in alignment with organizational messaging strategy. Applicants interested in a Communications - Editorial internship should possess strong writing and editing skills. Preferred Hours: 10 hours / week / flexible Compensation: Unpaid Learning Opportunities: Assist the A.B.S. staff with content editing. Write book reviews and articles as a resource for the A.B.S. website. Develop/edit scripts for media content. Through a biblical worldview, respond to current cultural events through articles and blog posts. Qualifications: Have a personal relationship with Jesus. Are eager to learn how to share the Gospel to those seeking sexual wholeness, and equipping the Church and organizations to do the same. Executive AssistantThe Executive Assistant Intern will work closely with the President and the Executive Team to advance the mission of the A.B.S. by fulfilling day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks. Applicants interested in this position should possess administrative abilities, but are eager to learn the ins-and-outs of non-profit management and compliance. Preferred Hours: 10 hours / week / flexible Compensation: Unpaid Learning Opportunities: Learn more about the world of non-profit management and compliance. Hands-on experience in event planning and management. Serve as a crucial member of the executive team Looking to strengthen the following traits as a future non-profit leader: Strong intellectual curiosity – a hunger and desire to always be learning, experiencing and growing. Insightful – drives the association forward by connecting the dots. Organized – excellent at time and project management, has clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once and ensures everything gets done in a timely manner. Sweats the small stuff – strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure. Relationship-oriented – ability to develop effective working relationships with the rest of the staff. Team player – proactively seeks opportunities to help others; will go above and beyond in order to serve others in accomplishing the association's mission. Prioritize biblical values – although the association is a business, it is a ministry first, where we biblical principles rise above any procedure.
